The Pastoral Care Ministry serves the members of the church family in times of personal need. This may include times of rejoicing, as well as times of sorrow, illness, crisis, and suffering.
Scripture exhorts us to bear one another’s burdens and thus fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2) and to weep with those that weep (Romans 12:15).
It is a special privilege for the Pastoral Care workers to minister to our people whether they are in hospitals, retirement centers, nursing homes or in their own homes.
Our Pastoral Care Ministry, ministers to members of our church family who need encouragement in their spiritual and personal challenges. Through regular visitation in homes of new church members, counseling parents in preparation for infant baptism, visiting with elderly shut-ins and the bereaved, or calling on the sick in hospitals, retirement and nursing homes, we seek to show the comforting love and compassion of Christ.
